Fantastic site!!! My father and uncles used to sneak into Marx Brothers vaudeville shows in Hammond, Indiana when they were kids. (Their stories are the only way I even knew there was a 'Gummo') I grew up watching their movies, and now, thanks to TCM, my kids have been introduced to them as well. It's wonderful that a nine and seven year old in the 21st century can get as much enjoyment out of the Marx Brothers as their grandfather did in the '20's. Clean, timeless entertainment! |

I'm in my seventies and I grew up with these crazies. I loved them, still do. I recently bought a Grouch album entitles "Gratuitously Yours" on which he sings "Lydia" I've learned the lyrics but I would sure like to obtain the sheet music. Or, at least, a lead sheet. Help! |

Excellent website - well done! I'm an "old guy" of 47 who grew up watching what were then "old" Marx Brothers movies and no matter how many times I watch them on video, I still split my sides laughing. Bottom line - there's been no one since to come anywhere near them in terms of comedy. |

I'm in awe of anyone who can construct a website but this is excellent! And put together so quickly! Can I suggest you get hold of the videos "The Unknown mrx Brothers" and "The Marx Brothers in a nutshell" for a good overview. Now you'll have to excuse me the Captain is waiting to chase me round the deck. |
